YAO GARDEN  Yao

Named for Bellevue's sister city in Japan, this garden was designed by Robert Murase and Associates. The garden combines the use of some northwest plants with those that are native to Japan. It is a stroll garden, particularly beautiful in autumn when the maples, viburnums, hydrangeas, etc. show their red, orange and bronze tones.
