Cyclamen hederifolium

Other cultivars/species:
Cyclamen coum. Flowers in winter and early spring. A more vivid shade of pink than C. hederifolium.

Landscaping Value:

This plant is a beautiful addition to a woodland garden. Its subtle flowers in delicate shades of pink and white unexpectedly catch the eye and bring color to the under story.  It makes a most dramatic effect when planted in bare soil under trees and shrubs. In addition, this plant is exceptionally easy to grow and flowers at an unusual time – in late summer to early fall.
