Berberis thunbergii ‘Aurea

Other yellow-green cultivars include:
'Bonanza Gold', similar, but smaller
'Golden Nugget', yellow-golden foliage, orangish in fall
'Sunsation', has yellow-golden foliage with an orange cast most of the season

Extra notes and interesting information:
A wonderful compact variety of berberis with bright, golden-yellow spring foliage, turning pretty shades of orange-red in autumn.  This deciduous shrub is excellent for illuminating dull spots.  It’s a great specimen for a well-drained border in partial shade, since the delicate foliage can scorch in the midday sun.
